> Camera Repairs

We have accounts with all the major camera companies to handle factory repairs of your older camera. The first thing we do when you bring it in is to verify that it is indeed broken. There is no charge for this service. We will then forward the repair to the appropriate facility. The only cost is shipping both ways which is generally 20.00. This must be paid in advance. You will then be sent a postcard in the mail with the cost of repair which may be accepted or declined at your leisure. We do not accept repairs for the following brands: Kodak, Sony, JVC, Gateway, HP, or other minor brands. These companies either charge high fees (approximately $50) to provide a repair estimate or do not have reliable repair stations.

Since US workers make about the same amount of money per hour that overseas workers make per week, this also results in repair prices that seem quite high compared to the cost of a new camera. Most repairs run between $100 and $200. Sometimes even more on high end cameras. Often times we can offer you a goodwill price on a new camera which exceeds the performance of your broken one for not much more than the cost of repair.

> Clean & Check

Our in house clean and check services is designed to remove dust and dirt which accumulate over time during normal use and operation. It is also a thorough check of all the operation features of your camera and to identify problems which may affect its ability to deliver quality results. It is not the case that this will correct any operational issues that cause it to malfunction. If our technician discovers operational issues during the clean and check he/she will stop the process and notify you as to the status of the camera and your repair or replacement options.
